Once you have committed to Greensboro College with your deposit, check your email consistently for any important updates. If you have been receiving communications with your high school email, please send your personal email to admissions@greensboro.edu.

Pay your Deposit
At Greensboro College, our deposit is $250. This deposit lets us know that you are deciding to attend Greensboro College. you should have received an email with details on how to log into your Pride Page. Remember your login information; this page is used to complete most of your enrollment steps. After logging into your empower page, continue to the “Pay Your Deposit” section of the same email you used to log in for directions on paying your deposit.
File for FAFSA by June 1st
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Greensboro College uses this application to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and college-sponsored financial aid, including grants, educational loans, and work-study programs. Visit studentaid.gov to apply now.
Log Into Greensboro College Email
Complete Loan Entrance Counseling
- Entrance counseling ensures you understand the terms and conditions of your loan and your rights and responsibilities.
- This Item can be found on your studentaid.gov account.
- You will need to accept your loans before this step. This can be done on your Pride Page.
Sign Master Promissory Note
- If you have accepted your loans, you will need to sign a master promissory note. This is a document where you promise to repay your loan(s) and any accrued interest and fees to the U.S. Department of Education.
- This item can be found on your studentaid.gov account.
Complete “Not Anymore” Title IX Training
- All incoming students must complete this training prior to moving in or attending classes at Greensboro College.
- There will be instructions for logging in and completing this training sent to your Greensboro College email.

Set Up Your Magnus Health Portal
- An activation link will be sent to your Greensboro College email sometime over the summer. The link expires in a week, so be sure to keep a look out for it. Remember that there is a $25 activation fee for this portal.
Final Official High School Transcript
- If you just graduated high school this year, please ask your high school counselor to mail or email your final official high school transcript to us.
- If you have taken any college-level courses, please request final official transcripts from those colleges.
- Transcripts can be sent to 815 W Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401 or email to admissions@greensboro.edu.

- If you have taken any college classes, please be sure to request the final official transcript to be sent to admissions@greensboro.edu.

Sign Up for GC Alert
- GC Alert is a campus communication system that alerts those who are signed up of any emergency or weather-related alerts that are in campus vicinity.
- This item is under the tab “Steps to Enroll”
Accept or Decline Your Loans (June 15)
- If you were offered loans as part of your financial aid package, you must either accept or decline these to complete your financial aid.
- This can be done on your Pride Page.
Complete Roommate Housing Questionnaire
- This questionnaire helps us determine who you would pair best with as a roommate. If you have a roommate in mind already, please list them on this form.
- This item is under the tab “Steps to Enroll.”
Sign Housing Contract
- This housing contract needs to be completed by all students. It states how you will comply with all housing rules regardless of your residence status on or off campus.

Complete FERPA Form
- The FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) form allows us to share academic, personal, and financial information with the people you have listed on this form.
Register Your Car with a Parking Sticker
- We require all vehicles that will be parked on campus to be registered. Our parking stickers costs $220
