Micah D. Wyatt
Mr. Micah Wyatt is a licensed marriage and family therapist pursuing his Ph.D. at NC A&T State University. Micah has over seven years of experience working with individuals, couples, and marginalized community members in rural and inner-city areas and has focused on evidence-based practices, specifically within communities of color. In addition, Micah is a Woodlawn fellow in the 2023-2024 cohort and has been featured on various media platforms for his outstanding work. As the current Director of Counseling Services, Micah plans to support our students by providing mental health services, group treatment opportunities, and completing research on issues surrounding college life are goals for the Counseling Department.

Jesus Orozco
Jesus “Jesse” Orozco is originally from Waukegan IL, a North metropolitan suburb of Chicago. Orozco graduated from and is currently attending graduate school at Wake Forest University. Orozco attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science, and is currently in the process of attaining a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. When not in class or counseling, you can find Orozco running, listening to music, or watching a good movie.

Katrina O’Neill
Katrina O’Neill is working towards her Master’s degree in social work at East Tennessee State University where she will graduate in May of 2026. After graduation, O’neill plans to work towards her clinical licensure. O’Neill graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology along with minors in Health Science and Religion from Greensboro College in 2023. While working on her undergraduate degree, she was a dual sport athlete as a member of the volleyball and swim team. She was president for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee for 3 years and a member of the Psi Chi Honors Society.

Millie SanMiguel
Millie SanMiguel is a first-generation graduate student and has always had a passion for working with people. Before transitioning into the field of counseling SanMiguel was a preschool teacher for many years. She says her main goal with a client is figuring out a way to attain a state of overall wellness together, and she focuses on trauma and addictions. For fun, you might see her sitting in her backyard, watching the trees sway and cuddling up with a great book; usually pertaining to psychology and counseling. She enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the mountains or the beach.
