Adjunct Instructor of Sociology

JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Greensboro College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor of Sociology to begin fall semester 2024.
We are looking for a Generalist who can teach one to two courses for Fall and Spring, covering a range of Sociology topics, such as: SOC 1010 Sociological Imagination, SOC 2010 Migration & Society, or 3000-level Social Theory or Families in Society. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s degree in Sociology or related field with 18 hours of Sociology is required
  • Two or more years teaching at college level
