Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will work with the Head Basketball Coach in all facets of the program. This includes the day-to-day operations of practice and game preparation. Recruitment of prospective student-athletes is a major focus of this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the mission of Greensboro College and its athletics program
- Recruit qualified student-athletes
- Empower the student-athletes to become better students, players, and people
- Aid in retention through academic, financial, and athletic monitoring
- Implement and teach proper techniques and weight room safety
- Implement and develop all game plans
- Weekly academic monitoring
- Team travel itineraries
- Game day set up
- Equipment & software

All other duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy with ability to work in group settings to achieve highest level of performance
