Master of Education in Birth-Kindergarten Education

Birth-Kindergarten Education is one of three M.Ed. master’s programs offered by Greensboro College. Each program has its specialty studies component taught by individuals in that or related disciplines. The professional studies common to all licensure areas are taught by the faculty in the Division of Education. The professional and specialty studies component of the master’s programs are vitally interlinked.

The Master of Education in Elementary Education is designed for licensed teachers who wish to further their professional development and pursue National Board Certification. This program with small, informal classes or fully online instruction is designed to be completed in 18 months.

Master of Education in Special Education General Curriculum or Special Education Adapted Curriculum

The Master of Education in Special Education is designed for licensed Special Education teachers who wish to further their professional development and pursue National Board Certification. Virtual- and in-person instruction is available for this 18-month program.
