Greensboro College Names 12 Rising Seniors Student Marshals for 2018-2019
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named 12 rising seniors student marshals for 2018-2019. They are:
- Timothy Samuel Crowell, a psychology and English & Communication Studies major from Pinnacle, N.C., chief marshal
- Gwyneth Frances Navey, a history/political science major from Florence, S.C., assistant chief marshal
- Sarah Elizabeth Bailey, a business administration and economics major from Stokesdale, N.C.
- Ain Sade Flowers, a business administration/Organizational Leadership and Management major from Greensboro, N.C.
- Charity Elizabeth Hamilton, a theatre with teacher licensure major from Lancaster, S.C.
- Cali Nicole Horton, a liberal studies major from Greensboro N.C.
- Makayla Jean Humphreys, an art major from Liberty, N.C.
- Maggy Danielle Lovings an elementary education major from Reidsville, N.C.
- Meegan Ann McCarthy, a psychology and art major from Loudon, N.H.
- Katia Susanna Mezey, a theatre with teacher licensure major from Carlsbad, Calif.
- Crystal Lynn Rothrock, a theatre/musical theatre major from Winston-Salem, N.C.
- McKenzie Michelle Woody, a human development and family science major from Burlington, N.C.
Student marshals are the students with the highest-ranking grade-point averages in the junior class. They lead academic ceremonies beginning with the Baccalaureate/Cap & Gown Ceremony and Commencement this week and continuing through the Alumni Awards/Senior Investiture Ceremony in April 2019.
