Greensboro College Names 2019-2020 Student Marshals
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named 15 rising seniors as student marshals for the 2019-2020 academic year. They are:
- Blake Alexander Hawkins, a religion major from Lynchburg, Va., chief student marshal
- Keeley O’Quinn Catarineau, an English & Communication Studies major from Tavernier, Fla., assistant chief student marshal
- Mikaela Danielle Craft, a theatre/musical theatre major from Charlotte, N.C.
- Devin Marie D’Agostin, a Health Sciences major from Morrisville, N.C.
- Raven Alexandra Green, a biology major from Greensboro, N.C.
- Austin Robert Himmel, a Health Sciences major from Wendell, N.C.
- Stella Igihozo, a biology major from Greensboro, N.C.
- Madison Kate Karch, an Exercise and Sport Study major from Frederick, Md.
- Mary JoAnne Lowe, a political science and sociology major from Ararat, N.C.
- Decima Alexcia Michael, a sociology major from Greensboro N.C.
- Hannah Lane Osborne, a music major from Pleasant Garden, N.C.
- Cristina Samano-Romo, a mathematics major from Burlington, N.C.
- Rachel Amy Walker, a theatre/technical major from Charlotte, N.C.
- Carissa Dionne Washington, an art and English & Communication Studies major from Greensboro N.C.
- Anis Yahi, a Health Sciences major from Greensboro, N.C.
Student marshals are the students with the highest-ranking grade-point averages in the junior class. They conduct ceremonies at the college, including the 2019 Baccalaureate/Cap and Gown and Commencement and the 2020 Alumni Awards/Senior Investiture.
