Greensboro College Names Fannie Ouyang Collection Services Librarian

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named Fannie Ouyang a collection services librarian.

In that role, she will be responsible for cataloging and maintaining a wide variety of library resources; hiring, training and supervising library student assistants; and providing instruction and reference assistance to students, faculty and staff.

Ouyang comes to Greensboro College from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she had been evening supervisor and overnight-evening liaison at the R.B. House undergraduate library.

Previously she had been a graduate research assistant at the university’s Sloane Arts Library.

She holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of California at Riverside. She also holds an M.A. in Art History and an M.S. in Library Science, both from UNC-Chapel Hill.
