Greensboro College Names Julia Mallard Director of Recruitment and Communication
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named Julia Mallard its director of recruitment and communication in the Office of Admissions.
In that role, she will oversee the college’s communications with prospective students.
Mallard comes to the college from the University of South Carolina, where she had been a graduate instructor, a graduate assistant in the career center and an intern in the Office of Higher Education and Student Affairs in the university’s College of Education.
Previously, she had been an out-of-state admissions counselor for Georgia Southern University, recruiting students in the Carolinas. She also served for more than three years as president of the Porter-Gaud School Young Alumni Association.
She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs, both from the University of South Carolina.
