Greensboro College Names Krista Connelly ’09 Admissions Counselor
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named Krista Connelly ’09 an admissions counselor.
Connelly comes to Greensboro College from the Family Support Organization of Essex County in New Jersey, where she had been a community engagement specialist.
Previously, she had been a freelance costume design assistant, a guest-services agent with Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn and Suites, an adoption specialist with the Laurens County (S.C.) Humane Society, and a community engagement specialist in fundraising for Church World Service in both Raleigh, N.C., and Lowell, Mass.
She holds a B.A. in sociology with a minor in Child & Family Studies from Greensboro College and an M.S.W. in Social Policy from New York University.
At Greensboro College, she was a Pride Leader, a member of Pride Productions and the Interclub Council, a participant in the Emerging Leaders Program, and a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She also was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Delta international sociological honor society.
