Greensboro College Theatre Presents “The Book of Will” Feb. 21-24
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College Theatre presents Lauren Gunderson’s “The Book of Will,” 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 21-23, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 23-24, in the Gail Brower Huggins Performance Center in Odell Building.

Without William Shakespeare, we wouldn’t have literary masterpieces like “Romeo and Juliet.” But without Henry Condell and John Heminges, we would have lost half of Shakespeare’s plays forever!
After the death of their friend and mentor, the two actors are determined to compile the First Folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. They’ll just have to borrow, beg, and band together to get it done. Amidst the noise and color of Elizabethan London, “The Book of Will” finds an unforgettable true story of love, loss, and laughter, and sheds new light on a man you only think you know.
Greensboro College’s Department of Theatre seeks to provide a strong foundation in theatre while allowing the student to emphasize in a particular area such as directing, acting, or arts administration.
The coursework is integrated with the production work to provide a better understanding of the many facets of the theatre. Required participation on stage or backstage on all theatre productions allows the techniques and theories that are examined in the classroom and the laboratory to be tested in a performance setting.
