Greensboro College Will Hold Second Annual Resource Fair Feb. 28 for Individuals with Disabilities

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College will hold its second annual resource fair for students with disabilities and their care givers on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The event will be 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Mane Stage at the college’s Royce Reynolds Family Student Life Center, 1015 W. Market St. (corner of Tate Street). Parking is available on-site, and the event is free and open to the public.

Resource providers will offer information and resources specifically for students with disabilities, their families and interested community professionals.

The 2017 fair offered 28 resources and professionals, and this year’s is expected to be even larger. It also will offer breakout sessions on topics ranging from legal issues to therapy.

The resource fair is sponsored by the Greensboro College Department of Education’s chapter of the Student Council for Exceptional Children, the Herbin-Metz Education Center, and Guilford County Schools.
