Room and Board Rates for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Housing and Board Cost
- Standard Double with Roommate (available in Greensboro, West, and Hill): $6,162 per semester
- Deluxe Double with Roommate (available in Hill): $6,715 per semester
- Private Room* (available in Greensboro, West, and Hill): $8,935 per semester
*Must be approved through Financial Aid
Fall 2024 Important Dates
- Tuesday, August 13—Move-in for all Greensboro College Fall Athlete
- Saturday, August 17—Move-in for all new Greensboro College Students; meals begin with dinner
- Monday, August 19 —Move-in for returning Greensboro College students
- Tuesday, August 20 —First Day of Classes
- Monday, October 14—Tuesday, October 15—Fall Break; halls remain open, and Dining Hall open on Weekend Schedule
- Wednesday, November 27 — Saturday, November 20— Thanksgiving; halls close to all residents at 10 am and last meal dinner on 11/26
- Sunday, November 21—Halls open to all residents at noon; first meal dinner
- Saturday, December 14—Halls close to all residents at 10 am; last meal dinner on 12/1
Spring 2025 Important Dates
- Saturday, January 11—Halls open for residents at noon; first meal dinner on 1/12
- Monday, January 13 —First Day of Spring Classes
- Saturday, March 8 — Spring Break, Halls close to all residents on 3/8 at 10 am; last meal dinner on 3/7
- Sunday, March 16—Halls open for residents at noon; first meal dinner
- Saturday, May 3 —Halls close for all residents at 10 am; last meal dinner on 5/2
The college does not provide on-campus housing during Semester Break and Spring Break. There is no food service during these breaks and residence hall staff members are not available. Students must make alternative living arrangements during these times.
If you are a current student living on campus (GC dorms) and have a maintenance issue, please submit a Work Order at GC Work Order form.

- Greensboro College Fall Athletes who are on the active roster (Football, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Cross Country, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Triathlon, and Volleyball)
Saturday, August 17th
9 a.m. — 3 p.m.
- Odell Building Lobby
- New Traditional Students
Monday, August 19th
9 a.m.—2:30 p.m.
- Odell Building Lobby
- Returning Greensboro College Students
There is no food service during these breaks and residence hall staff members are not available. Students must make alternative living arrangements during these times.
