Courtney Jamison
1st Floor, Head RA

My name is Courtney Jamison she/her. I am a senior this year and the Head Resident Advisor of Greensboro Hall. I am originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, which is 4 hours away. I am a Business major with a concentration in Human Resources, I am also a part of the Honors Program. I enjoy to bike, hike, and play the switch in my free time. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and sitting outside. I started a book club this year and I am the president of the honors club. I wanted to be an RA to be a helpful hand around campus and to host fun programs for fellow students to enjoy. I also did it for the fun perks, like the solo room and free parking pass! I hope to host good, quality programs that peek people’s interest and allow for lots of student interaction. My goal is to be a friendly face around campus to help anyone in need!

Mackenzie Helton

My name is Mackenzie Helton, and I am from Youngsville NC. I am a junior at Greensboro college with a major in health science and a minor in exercise science. My pronouns are she/her. I wanted to be an RA to help others and to get more involved in campus life. I love crafts so doing door decs and boards are my favorite part. I am on the second floor of Greensboro hall. I am an ambassador for the Student Athletic Academic Committee and a fun leader on campus! I am apart of the Women’s Basketball program here at GC come and support! I am here to assist you. Nataya Atwater

Hey! My name is Nataya Atwater, a senior Business Administrator/ Economics & Studio Arts major from Atlanta, Georgia. I serve as the manager of the lacrosse team and a member of the UAAS. The reason why I want to be an RA is because I want to make a difference on campus and make campus more fun and welcoming. My goal for Hill Hall is to make it enjoyable for everyone. If I am ever needed I am located on the first-floor low side (115). You are more than welcome to come by and hangout with me!

My name is JaJuan, and I’m a senior from Hendersonville, NC. I am majoring in Exercise and Sports Studies with a minor in Health and Coaching. I am a member of the football team here at GC and a member of UAAS here as well. I am located on the first floor of Hill Hall and can’t wait for the year to start.

My name is Anna Frazier. I am a junior from Holden Beach, North Carolina. My majors are History, Political Science, and Criminal Justice with minors in Legal Administration, Psychology, and Humanities. I am apart of the softball team, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Honors program, and I work in the Admissions department. In my free time I enjoy fishing, working out, and reading. I will be on the second floor, low side, of Hill for the upcoming year and look forward to meeting everyone!

Hello! My name is Maddie, and I am a junior from northern California. I am majoring in business administration and economics with a concentration in management. Outside of school, I am a part-time barista. As a part of residence life, it is my goal to ensure that residents feel seen and welcome. Hey y’all! My name is Ivy and I am a senior from Thomasville, NC. I am a triple major in Health Science, Exercise Science, and Coaching. On campus, I am a member of the softball team here at GC, a SAAC representative, a Head Pride Leader, and more! Josh Sims

Hey! My name is Josh Sims, and I am from Charlotte, NC. I’m majoring in Supply chain Management, and I am a junior here at GC. I am actively apart of UAAS and the Football Team. In my free time I like to play games and music. As the Head RA in West Hall, I plan to have a safe and friendly environment in the Resident Hall and also help the freshman adjust to the college life in any way possible.

Hi my name is Eli Brown (He/Him). I am from Robbins, NC. I am an Acting major. I wanted to be an RA to guide people in a positive direction. My goal for West Hall is for each resident to feel safe and supported. I host a Bible study on Sunday nights!

My name is Logan Vacharasin, He/Him. I’m from Tampa Florida. I’m a Sophomore, and I am a Business major. I am also involved in SAAC as Vice-President (student athletic advisory committee), SAG representative, Table Tennis club President, along with being on the school Baseball team. For fun I love to go hiking and hang out with friends. I wanted to be an RA for the cool perks like my own room and free parking pass. My goals for my hall in west are to have fun and friendly environment were everyone feels welcome. I hope to have programs that gets everyone involved, and feels like a break from school and anything else they are involved in.

Hello my name is Hayden and my pronouns are He/Him. I am from Bellevue, Washington which is just outside of Seattle. I am a sophomore here at GC and a mathematics major. I play lacrosse here on campus and I am also a SAAC representative for the team. Things I like to do for fun include snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. I wanted to be and RA to give first year students who may be far from home like I was, the same welcoming experience that I received when I was a freshman. I am located on the third floor of west hall.

John Felton
Director of Residence Life

I am John Felton from Durham, North Carolina. I graduated from Methodist University in December of 2020 with a B.S. in History, and I have many years of housing experience as a RA and past RHD.  As the Director of Residence Life at Greensboro College, I plan on sharing my skills and my experiences as a leader, community builder, and one who seeks to create an inclusive environment for all students to be a part of. Goals of mine are to empower students, lead our Residence Life team, and focus on innovative ideas that will have an impactful experience within our Residence Halls here at Greensboro College for our students.

Tyler Smith

Hey! My name is Tyler Smith (He, Him, His). I’m originally from Siler City North Carolina. I am a GC Alum! I graduated in 2022 with degrees in Religion and Sociology, and a minor in Health. I am excited to give back to the Greensboro College community! As a student I was involved with religious life, chapel band, and community service. Since graduation I’ve started graduate school, worked in Student Engagement at Wake Forest University, and worked with the Pride Pantry here on campus. As Residence Life Coordinator my goals for Hill Hall include creating a genuine community where all students can be their full selves and offer events that help students learn skills that will be with them after their time at GC! My office is located on the ground floor of Hill Hall. I look forward to meeting all our future Hill Hall residents!

DeShawn Fitts

I am a graduate of Greensboro College Class of 2023, with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Administration. I was a student-athlete as a four-year starter for the Pride Football Team. I was recognized as a member of the USA South Athletic Conference 2022-2023 Academic All-Conference Team, also making the Dean’s List in I will be currently pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice. I am from Fayetteville, NC and my favorite hobby is listening to music.
